Subject: Consolidated sales revenues and estimated sales margin achieved by the VRG S.A. Capital Group in March 2019
VRG S.A. joint stock company with its registered office in Cracow (“the Company") informs that the consolidated sales revenues achieved in March 2019 by the Capital Group of the Company amounted to approximately PLN 73.2 million and were higher than revenues earned in March 2018 by approximately 27.5%.
Cumulatively, the value of sales revenues realized in the period January-March 2019 amounted to approximately PLN 214.3 million and was higher by approximately 33.5% than those achieved in the corresponding period of the previous year.
At the same time, the Company informs that the revenues from retail sales achieved in March 2019 by the Capital Group of the Company in individual operating segments were as follows:
a) Revenues from retail sales in the clothing segment (Vistula, Wólczanka, Deni Cler, Bytom brands) amounted to approximately PLN 45.2 million (including PLN 12.3 million Bytom) and were higher than revenues earned in March 2018 by about 37.1%. Cumulatively, the value of sales revenues realized in the period January - March 2019 in this segment amounted to approximately PLN 132.5 million (including PLN 38.9 million in Bytom) and was higher by approximately 45.7% than in the same period of the previous year.
b) Retail sales realized in the jewelry segment (W.KRUK brand) - amounted to approximately PLN 24.0 million and were higher than revenues earned in March 2018 by approximately 16.9%. Cumulatively, the value of sales revenues realized in January-May 2019 in this segment amounted to approximately PLN 72.3 million and was higher by approximately 22.3% than in the corresponding period of the previous year.
VRG S.A. informs that the consolidated sales margin achieved in March 2019 by the Capital Group of the Company amounted to approximately 51.3% and was higher than the margin achieved in March 2018 by approximately 1.3 pp. On a growing basis, the consolidated sales margin in January-March 2019 amounted to approximately 49.3% and was higher by 0.9 pp. from the margin achieved in the same period last year. The company informs that the total retail area of the Capital Group as at the end of March 2019 amounted to 52.4 thousand. m2 (including 15.8 thousand m2 Bytom).
