Ms Blanka Borkowska is a graduate of the Department of Organisation and Management, with a specialisation in Human Resource Management, at the University of Business and Law in Warsaw. Additionally, she completed her postgraduate studies at the Academy of Social Psychology (SWPS) in 2002. Since 2011 she has also been a coach (Erickson College).
She started her career in 1995, passing through various levels of the HR path and learning about different industries. Her longest experience was in the clothing industry (fashion retail) - in the Polish brands Americanos and CCC, and, above all, several years working for the Spanish Indiex group (owner of clothing brands such as ZARA, Bershka, Stradivarius, Pul&Bear, Oysho, Massimo Dutti, ZARA Home), where she was HR Director for Poland, then Managing Manager, and in the next step, International HR Director, where she was responsible for HR policy in several European countries. In 2018, she changed industries and joined the French company FM Logistic in the role of HR Director for Central Europe and member of the Management Team. Since 2022, she has been the Director of the People & Culture area for Poland and the Baltics at ISS Facility Services. She is also a member of the company's management team.
According to the statement submitted, Ms Blanka Borkowska meets the independence criteria listed in Article 129(3) of the Act on Statutory Auditors, Audit Firms and Public Supervision of 11 May 2017 and resulting from Rule 2.3. of the Code of Best Practice for WSE Listed Companies 2021 regarding the absence of actual and significant relations with a shareholder holding at least 5% of the total number of votes in the company.
